VAER is a small, independent clothing label. This page says what we learn about you when you use this site, what we do with it, and who else sees it.
What we collect
- When you send an order request: your name, email address, delivery address, the pieces and sizes you chose, and anything you write in the note. A phone number only if you give one.
- When you join the list: your email address.
- When you apply as a creator: the contact information, public profile links, audience details and introduction you choose to email us. We use them to review your application and discuss a possible partnership. Applying does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
- When you write to us: whatever you send.
Your bag, saved pieces and up to six recently viewed product IDs are kept in your own browser so they are still there when you come back. Recently viewed history can be removed using Clear history in the shop. No name, email or delivery address is saved in this browsing history. Saved pieces do not sync across devices; you can remove them using the heart controls or clear your browser’s site data. Style-finder choices stay on the page and are not sent to us. It is not sent to us until you send an order request. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and runs no analytics. The company that hosts the site keeps ordinary server logs, as every web host does.
What we use it for
- To confirm your order, send your payment link, make your piece and deliver it.
- To answer you if something goes wrong.
- To tell you about new releases, if you joined the list. Every message says how to leave.
We do not sell your details or pass them on for anyone else’s marketing.
Who else sees it
- Our production and delivery partners receive your name, delivery address and phone number so they can make and ship your order.
- Our payment provider handles your payment. We never see or store your card details.
- Our email and form providers carry the messages between you and us.
Some of these partners are in other countries, so your details may be handled outside the country you live in.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them to deal with the order and to meet tax and accounting rules. If you joined the list, we keep your email address until you leave it.
Accounts and order history
If you create an account, Supabase stores your email and securely handles password authentication. We store your delivery details, order requests and status history so you can follow your orders and VAER can manage fulfillment. Account sessions use browser storage to keep you signed in. Sign out on shared devices. Only your account and authorized VAER staff can access your order history. Guest email requests do not automatically appear in an account. Contact us to request corrections or deletion, subject to records we must retain.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can leave the list at any time. Write to the address on your order confirmation and we will deal with it.
Changes
If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
